Fiber optics and incredible technology

Millennium Communications Group was founded in 1995 on a simple idea: the union of fiber optics and incredible technologies will push the world forward.

In the years since, we've grown from a regional fiber-optic installer into a full-service technology and security solutions provider. The original idea hasn't changed, but the work has. Fiber became the backbone for everything else: data centers, surveillance grids, access control, mass notification, emergency operations centers, EV charging, smart cities. We've carried that same standard of workmanship from the early aerial and underground fiber jobs into every new service category we've added.

How we work

Every Millennium engagement runs the same arc: plan, design, build, integrate, manage. One employee-owned team responsible for the fiber, the networks, the physical security, and the IT services that hold it all together. The benefit to the customer is straightforward: you have one number to call when it matters, and the team that picks up has the context to fix whatever's in front of you.

State and local government, K-12 and higher education, healthcare systems, utilities, telecom carriers, public-safety agencies, and private enterprise. The throughline: mission-critical infrastructure that can't go down.

Today

Three decades and 23,000+ projects later, Millennium is headquartered at 11 Melanie Lane in East Hanover, NJ, holds an NJ Electrical Contractors License (#17450), and is 100% employee-owned. The next chapter of the company gets written by the same employees you'd meet on the job site.
